Mike Gault 

Listing Specialist 

I was born and raised right here in good ole Lexington, Kentucky. My career started when I took a job with home services franchise. I worked my way up the corporate ladder until I became a regional support technician. With the acceptance of my new position, I moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I traveled the North East establishing branches and training their employees. A year later I was offered a position as a Branch Manager in Huntsville, Alabama. It was there that I reconnected with my now wife, Jessica. We were married in 2004 and I decided it was time to go back to my roots, so we headed back to the Bluegrass. Not long after the move my entrepreneurial spirit kicked in and I started a lawn care business. That business helped me reach a point where I could pursue my dream of becoming a real estate agent. I began my career at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate. Within a few years, my career as a listing agent began to flourish. Coincidentally, Nick was in need of a listing agent and it just made sense to combine our talents to conceive the beginnings of the greatest real estate team ever.

What was your childhood ambition? 

As a young child I had an ambition to become a fireman or policeman. However, with a family in building and development, and an eye for investments, I began to develop an interest in real estate.

When did you first join NRRT?

It was a warm summer day back in 2016. It was probably June or July 1st.

What’s your role on the team?

Being awesome. I’m also a listing specialist.

What strengths do you bring to that role?

I care about every transaction I’m involved in. I’m not afraid to step out of my daily duties to enhance the experience of our clients.

Who lives in your house?

Well, we’ve got Jessica, my wife. Karsyn, my seven-year-old daughter. Ethan, my four-year-old son, and Adelyn, my 18-month old daughter. As well as Bo and Bettis, my two yellow labs.

What are common mistakes people make with your name?

My last name is Gault, but most people think its Galt or Golf.

If you could go on vacation anywhere, where would you go?

My wife said Disney World… I’m not allowed to have an opinion.

If you could host a talk show, who would be your first guest?

Harry Connick Junior. That’s a good looking man.

What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?

I was a phenomenal bowler.
