Todays review of the week goes to one of our favorite spots here in Lexington, Magee’s Bakery. Here at Nick Ratliff Realty Team we love supporting local shops and restaurants, and Magee’s is no exception!

They offer a wide range of options- from coffee to doughnuts to burgers! Magee’s opened up for business on Main Street in 1956, and has been serving up some of Lexington’s best doughnuts ever since! Besides their beloved doughnuts, they also offer fantastic breakfast sandwiches and omelets. As well as their signature biscuits and gravy. Everything is made fresh daily, and in house! Within the past few years, they’ve added a lunch menu of mostly sandwiches: French Dip, BLT, Chicken Salad and so many more! Although Magee’s will be the first to admit that their cakes aren’t the most elaborate, they sure do taste delicious! Their three specialties include: carrot cake, Italian cream cake, and dense white cake (like a pound cake).
